This was a very tightly played show, and this recording sounds nice. The vibe was a good one- a little island, free show part of a Friday night summer
...
series in Richmond, so a lot of town folks just out for the free, but some hobos too, the locals enjoyed seeing spinners by the soundboard.
Obviously this show doesn't carry the same weight as a solid 2 set show, but it it packs a good punch- might be nice way to introduce somebody to Railroad Earth, so they can put in an hour and get an hour out, since those 2.5 hour shows can be daunting for introductions. Given the time constraints though, I would say this is 5 stars
